As Chloe celebrated the opening of the larget Diesel store, she also announced that she will be heading to Paris Fashion Week. But she isnt going to just view the fashions, apparently she is showcasing it. Chloe has created a mens unisex line and in her words it is "It’s skinny, chain-y, stud-y". Right about now I cannot wait, MK created a line and look at the perfection we have. Can Zoe K jump on this band wagon. Are you as anxious as I am to see how this line looks. I think it is extra drawing my attention because its mens unisex..what is mens unisex??

During the summer it was revealed that Alexander Wang was creating a shoe line and a new line of basics called T by Alexander Wang. The line consists of 12 styles ranging from tanks to dresses priced from $28.00-$40.00 wholesale. All are cute in his signature style in colors such as white, heather grey, cerulean, lavender, and chartreuse. The necklines are stretched and arms are lowered, so that these basics looked worn in. The simplicity of this line is what is drawing me to it right now, I just love it . Just our luck that some of these pieces are available for pre-order right now here, here, and here.
The Looks: Inauguration
Day:
During the day, as President Barack Obama was being sworn in aside from the excitement that was going through everyone heads the world was also wondering what the Obamas were going to wear. For months sketches and rumors arised as to who the First Family was going to be wearing. As we watched the Obamas on television we all fell in love, not with just the words that Barack Obama was preaching us, but also at what Michelle and the girls was wearing. For the swearing in ceremony Michelle wore a coat and dress from designer Isabel Toledo. Whether it was the textures or colors of the look, we all fell in love. Everything was perfection the color, which is Lemongrass demanded attention and drew all of our eyes to her and of course our President. And to top of this cheerful ensemble she paired it with green gloves from J. Crew and matching shoes from Jimmy Choo. To keep her warm from D.C. frigid 28 degrees temperature, her coat was lined with wool lace, extra netting, and silk lining. The one thing that I absolutely positively love about her dress is the jeweled neck line.
Night:
For the evening festivities Michelle definitely impressed. For some it was expected and for others it was just amazing. This time around Michelle wore a design by 26 year old designer Jason Wu. For the night Wu designed a white one shoulder chiffon flower applique gown. The gown which had approximately one million Swarovski crystals, definitely sparkled and caught eyes. They danced their first dance to Beyonce singing "At Last", it was all simply beautiful.

Explanation: This picture was taken December of 2006 and I was in Florida. This was the first year I was away during the christmas season for a month. Cris (my cousin), Asia (my sister), and I was going to an all inclusive party. And as usual I was taking forever to get my booty up and start getting ready. So my sister took this picture of me to show me how lazy I was being. I look cute for being lazy though. Lol. Whooo looking at this pic time goes by sooo quick, and people changes soo much. Trust I am def not the same person now as I was then. Oh yeah I was 18 in this picture and I had my first vodka and cranberry that night. Good Times.

Dolce & Gabbana is adding makeup to their already fabulous, and they have chosen Scarlett Johansson to be the new face of the makeup line. The makeup will be packaged in glossy gold slipped into gold pouches. The line will take inspiration from the Mediterranean and their lipsticks will give off a rose scent. The campaign was shot by photographer Solve Sundsbo and are reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe. The line is set to be released in spring and the prices range from $20.00 for nail lacquer and $59.00 for foundation.

During the election most had contributed a design to the Runway to Change line, but now they have all come together again to produce Inagural Collectibles. Inagural Collectibles is dedicated to the Inaguration that is fastly approaching in less than a week, January 20th. The designers who contributed to this line include: Donna Karen, Alexander Wang, Tory Burch, Diane von Furstenberg, Zac Posen, and more. The Inagural Collectibles include tote bags, scarves and tee shirts. The proceeds will go toward the funding of the Inaguration which is an estimated $45 million. This is one of my favorite pictures that my sister took while we were in New York, she took this picture when we were on our way back from downtown brooklyn on a dinner date with a friend. We went to one my favorite restaurants called La Traviata. There food and service is really good if you are ever in the area you should go. The N and B goes there I believe and you get off at Court Street and just walk up on Monatague.

So my mother was watching Suzy Orman the other day..and decided that she wanted to put me on a challenge. Here is what I have to do:
- For one day do not spend any money, dont buy anything.
- Do not use a debit card or credit card for a week
- Do not use credit card for a month
She thinks I cannot do it but I can just watch me. I will keep you all updated on my newly found spending habit, and just to see if I end up coming off base. I also cut out the sodas as of two days ago which I had done before for a year, so I know that I can do it. So thats what I am doing with myself now. Also no unnecessary sweets, cakes stuff like that. So on the side I will give you all a weekly update.
Wish me luck. Oh yeah and I am def trying to go vegeterian. I mean I have not had any beef or pork for 2 and a half years. But I cannot stop eating chicken, so thats what Im quiting now. Stay tuned.

Retail Operation at eLuxury Closing
WWD reports that within the next six months eLuxury will be closing down the retail portion of their site. Fortunately the closing down is not caused by the economy but because the brands that they currently sell also have their own site. eLuxury will transition into an online magazine. eLuxury are veterans in online retailing. They offer everything from shoes, accessories, handbags, and clothes for everyone including men and kids. They sell many brands such as Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Zac Posen, Rag & Bone, etc. Their new focus is to introduce the public to the world of luxury. Fortunately their employees will not lose their jobs. They will be completely closed by June.
