Spring 2008 Trends
Brown Leather Belts: the brown leather belt is the must have accessory for spring. The best way to wear your belt is long and looped. Can go with just about anything.
Sherbet beauty: to make your natural makeup pop a little try sherbet beauty. This trend is not difficult to do. Just look for makeup that is brighter than pastel but is not as bright as neon. Work it Girl.
Cropped Pants: New take on menswear this spring are the cropped pants.
Super gladiators: although the gladiator sandals have been seen here and there, they will definitely be everywhere this year this spring. Although most of the sandals you see are in neutrals this spring they will be in more colors and more prints. Go get em!
Grab Bags: Here we go again..This spring forget oversized- oversized bags. And hold on to your grab bags. That’s right forget about the handles while you are at it, and just grab the bag as it is. I am feeling this one.
High- Waisted Skirts: high waisted skirts are going to be just as popular as high waisted jeans. And although they say that pencil skirts are not going to be in this year. What the heck go for it. You can wear these high waisted skirts in any shape and volume you feel.
Sheer Legs: In love with your opaque’s that’s okay, but beware because sheers are making a comeback. This spring sheer legs will be everywhere. There are some celebs that has already started walking out with there’s. Don’t be late.
Power Puffs: Puff that hair up girl!! But don’t pull an Amy Winehouse.

What is In and Out for 2008?
I know everyone is probably wondering whats going to stay in 08 and whats going to go? Well I have your answers. According to US Magazine alot of the trends that we loved are going to be out. US Magazine says that Sequined dresses are going to be out (yay, because not everyone can wear sequins) and the floral dress will be taking its place, and this is great (get it in a nice bold print). Also bye bye pleasent blouses and hello sheer. Puffy coats are also going to be a no no in 2008 while trench coats are a must have (personally I always rathered a more sleek coat than a puff). Now the next trend i am sad to hear them say go (and trust i will always wear mines no matter what) but they say that we shall say so long to oversized bags and come to ma ma small clutches. Can I say this sucks again. Last but not least the pencil skirt even though the pencil skirt was the must have for 2007 it will not be for 2008. So what is going to be taking the pencil skirt place? Are you ready for this answer? Ok, well while the pencil skirt will be out the A-Line skirt will be so in.
One Lucky Baby
Halle has only one more month until her long awaited bundle of joy will be welcomed into this world. And let me just say myself that this baby will be one lucky baby. First of all Halle has been named as Maxim's hottest pregnant women alive (that was a given) and the baby has a very handsome father. Can it get any better than that?? Yes it can. It is reported that Halle's baby godmother will be no other, but Oprah Winfrey!! Yes Ms. Winfrey. Geesh what a lucky baby.
Victoria Beckham for Marc Jacobs
Even though Victoria was name as worst dressed on Mr. Blackwell's worst dressed list, Mr. Jacobs still wanted her as his muse for his campaign. The new ad is a bit hilarious, but I love it. I give him an A++ for creativity. The ad campaign shows a huge Marc Jacobs bag swallowing Victoria, with her legs swinging from atop. The next set of ads will debut in February, and lets just say that they become more and more creative. Love it can't wait to see more.
Buffalo Plaid
I love love love the buffalo plaid. I own two buffalo plaid sweaters in two colors. Any color that you buy will look good. Just make sure that the color that you get looks good on you. Two celebrities who have been seen wearing this trend are Lindsay Lohan and Sarah Jessica Parker. Lindsay Lohans Alexander Wang buffalo plaid cardigan is absolutely adorable, and she wears it oh so well. She couldnt have chosen a better way to walk out of rehab. Kudos to you Lindsay. If you are like me and cannot afford Alexander Wang cardigan there are many places where you can go and find this hot trend. I found a cute hoodie in grey and navy at target for 13.88 and this sweater is so cute it goes with just about everything. Happy Shopping.
